Grants for Rainwater Management
Call for applications in 2023
The purpose of providing financial support for small-scale sustainable rainwater management projects is to improve rainwater management and the environment by reducing the negative impacts of climate change on the city. The grant scheme is linked to the city's strategic documents – in particular the Adaptation Strategy and the Action Plan for Adaptation to the Adverse Effects of Climate Change on the City's Territory – which warn of heat waves, droughts and other extreme weather events, and which emphasise the need to implement measures that will help reduce the associated risks.
The grant scheme is a tool for active cooperation between the city and its residents, who can actively contribute to mitigating the impacts of the changing climate in their area.
Your application will only be accepted if it is sent through the electronic system and also delivered in hard copy generated in the electronic system together with the affidavit and all the required annexes by the deadline for applications. If the application is sent only electronically or only in hard copy, it will not be evaluated and will be rejected. The postmark (or the stamp of the Filing Office of Bratislava City Hall) must not be after the closing date and is decisive.
